Martin Safran was an Assistant Principal who symbolized all that Assistant Principals aspire to be.  In his honor, we held an annual scholarship award dinner on our last meeting of the year.  It is at this dinner that we awarded $100.00 savings bonds and plaques to thirteen students from our five boroughs who give of themselves to their school and/or community.
